Ann Marie O'Donnell,46 of Nanticoke, passed into the arms of the Lord Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Stephania Zdziarski O’Donnell.
She was a graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School, Wilkes University and Bloomsburg University. Ann Marie was employed by the Greater Nanticoke Area School District as a Reading Specialist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Surviving are numerous cousins and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the main site of St. Faustina Parish, Nanticoke. Private interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Greater Nanticoke Area School Lunch Program.
A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses who provided such care and support to Ann Marie in her time of need.
Ann Marie was a friend and professional colleague of our Penn State Wilkes-Barre community. She touched many student lives as an instructor for our SAT Prep Course. Ann was my best friend. She was so smart, patient, funny, honest, trustworthy, everything you could ever want in a friend. I miss our daily texting, and her wonderful advice.
